Hello. I'm a PC...

Although I've been a mac user for the last 3 years, I must say I can't stand the "I'm a mac, I'm a PC" advertisements. I'm a Mac user but I certainly don't look like Justin Long nor do I act like is goober butt. Anyway I like the advertisement that Microsoft created in response... just saw it on CrunchGear!!!! Check it.... RADDY

This is freaking hilarious... it was just a simple request.

Was catching up on one of my favorite tech blogs, CRUNCHGEAR and found this hilarious post. I guess the story is some guy posted a request on a forum asking for help editing a picture that he wanted to give his pops as a gift. The thread that ensued is pretty dang funny.... see for yourself! Please click on the dollar signs to view it. $$$.

PONOKO: you design it, they produce it!

Anyone that has ever done any type of product development will know that one of the biggest challenges is finding the right manufacturer. Aside from the challenge of finding the right company, is finding a company that will produce what you want, how you want it without paying a ridiculous amount of money. After all that what if your product is a flop? All that money and sweat has now been translated into a learning experience. Why not create a design, have a company produce it and ship it and split the profit? That is kind of the idea behind Ponoko.com. This is great if you want to avoid the headache of all the nonsense. I haven't messed with the site too much but its a great idea. Will definitely give it a shot.

Maryland Pt. 2

As I said before my trip to Md/DC was incredible. I didn't get as much work done as I wanted but it was just what I needed. Clear my head, spend some time with Lil' and relax. Its strange though, as soon as I returned my head got all foggy. I was really excited to return to Chicago, had all these ideas and a fat to do list but it was all taken off the burner, put into a little tupperware container and left at the bottom of the fridge. It was as if something took over my emotions and thoughts. Anyway I woke up early this morning and am feeling much better. I have a Spanish exam at 1. That means 3 hrs to study but I just wanted to show Radnamas some love.
Here are some highlights of my trip to MD:
Flew into Dulles airport Thurs and was picked up by Lil'. We went to Original Pancake House in Rockville MD and had some fantastic pancakes! I have to say they have great hashbrowns as well. I'm not crazy about the mushy, cold, chewy, bland, oily, etc. potatoes that most restaurants plop on your plate. It always seems to take away from my meal, I just want them to go away but I also feel like I'm being slighted if I don't keep them because then my meal seems so meager. Anyway, Lil's eggs benedict came with some golden, crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside hashbrowns with the perfect amount of salt. I will always look forward to hashbrown now with the hope that they will be as perfect as these. To Be Cont'd.....
